Abus Hyban 2.0 Cycling Helmet

The ABUS Hyban 2.0 is an everyday city helmet, built for the kind of riding a D&D electric bike is made for. It pairs a tough hard shell with generous airflow, and an integrated LED rear light keeps you visible when the light drops. Available in Velvet Black, Signal Yellow and Glacier Blue.

The shell is ABS over EPS foam, with an injection-moulded outer for everyday knocks. Five air inlets and eight outlets keep the head cooler on a longer assisted ride, and bug mesh across the intakes keeps insects out of the vents. Reflectors add to the visibility, alongside a large, high-mounted LED tail light with 180° visibility.

Fit is handled by the Zoom Ace Urban system: a full-ring adjustment that wraps the head, tightened with a wheel so the helmet can be dialled in without fuss. It is also cut for a ponytail, so longer hair does not have to be rearranged to get a proper fit. A peak is included; there is no visor. XL sizing is available for heads of 62 cm and over.
